I'm a mechanical engineer.

CONGRATS to everyone... especially to UP Diliman...
To those who did not make it... it's just a month or less heartbreak... it will never be the measurement of intellegence...
ece gud tawn?! khibaw mn mi ana nu subjects! kamo kahibaw mo sa amo subjects?! dli gani mo kahibaw unsa formula sa table salt, pero kami kahibaw mi moka0n kuryente!!! blehhh...
dli jud measure of "intelligence" (take note of the spelling)
what matters is the attitude towards work..many engineers easily give up from pressure in work, that's why they usually resign in just a month of two because they are afraid of failure...
congrats to mel jairus barbac jabol of being top five in chemical board exam.

I have met Orville Parreño (the topnotcher) in person. He is so humble...He really deserves to be on top...
Kung mataas ang passing percentage ng ChE, it only means na magagaling talaga ang mga ChE students... FYI, open handbook ang board exam ng chemical engineering... it implies that not all you need to solve the problem is readily given... you have to decipher kung ano ang kailangan mo to solve the problem at hanapin yun sa napakalaki at napakabigat na Perry's Chemical Engineering Handbook...
CArolinians are always the best.. wowowowowo.. Go ate rica (top3)! Go kuya Mel (top5),to all ChEC members who passed the exams... We proud to ol of u...
ug sa tanang mga carolinian...
from USC-ChEC

Aguuurrroy kinsa gud intawn gaingon nga sisiw ang CHE nga exam! Kaila ba mo n ga pag-second day wala dyud mo tingogay sa ako mga friends nga ni-take, masulob-on dyud mi adto...take note - masulob-on! Pwerteng lisora, nagcge nalang mi ukab sa handbook...imagine-a ra gud na nga after 2 hrs murag wala nay ma-answer-an...nya ing-non nimo sisiw! 7 to 5 pm ang second day nga exam at about 9 am murag maliki na akong ulo....
Gets nyo? Samahan pa ng leakage from Review Center. 98+% score sa exam (like CE), duh!
Topping the board exam has nothing to do with school. Individual performance pa rin yan. Meaning, kahit saang school mo ilagay yan, magta-top yang student na yan.
UP is given. UP supposedly gets the brightest high school graduates. Di dapat sila magmayabang na nag-top sila. Expected na sa kanila yun. Nakakahiya yung mga bumabagsak from UP.
Anyway, board exam is not the real measure of how good the engineer is. Its just a good decoration on one's resume. After that, you have to prove your worth. There's no big deal whether you topped or not. I know a lot of topnotchers who are losers in the end. Kasi, pumasok sa utak nila.
I topped the ChE board several years ago. Now I realize na walang meaning pala yun. Kasi based sa mga tanong, ano ba mini-measure nun? Parang quiz show lang sa TV yung ibang tanong. Me trivia pa! Either alam mo o hindi. Sayang ng binayad ko sa review center. Anyway, I made my family proud. Yun lang yun.
I can say I'm successful. But they're good. Maganda kinahinatnan nila. Some were even pirated abroad to do similar work.
basta ChE, bayot, hehe.
WER"S your standard guys???
tama..tama..mahirap nga naman ang chE...kaya konti lng kumukuha eh...unlike ECE...heheh!
