UPDATE: April 2009 (LET) Teachers Board (Licensure) Examination Results
The result of the Philippine Licensure (board) Examination for Teachers (LET) which was held Nationwide last September 28, 2008 has been released by the PRC.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 17,816 elementary teachers out of 58,471 examinees and 18,801 secondary teachers out of 53,195 examinees successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on September 28, 2008 in 24 testing centers all over the Philippines. The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Josefina T. Cunanan, Vice-Chairperson, Dr. Flordeliza P. Mayari and Dr. Norma A. Adamos, Members.
Oathtaking tickets are available at the Office of Professional Teachers, 3rd Floor, PRC Annex Building for NCR and Region IV passers; and at the PRC regional offices for the passers from the other regions.

yup meron tlgan error sa set b regarding the cases..good enough nakita ko un before ako nakasagot so wala akong erasures..bad 4 those na di nkta agad yun..they are not to blame..dapat dumadaan muna sa checking exams bago ito ipagamit...5 points or less can determine kung papasa ka ba or hndi...nakakadisappoint ang error na yun sa exam pedeng maging reason yun ng pgkafail ng isang examinee
its true I really don't know why the flow of questions is not in a proper arrangement in Prof.ed, its really made me crazy where I could get the right answer in 2 cases..
that's right the set B exam was messed up. i happen to take that set too. hope PRC will have those as bonus items otherwise that's some 15 points to loose.

oo nga, nakakabadtrip ung set B. nakakatakot namang magbura,sabi kasi nila tumatalon daw ung machine pag may nadetect na kahit bakat or something.. kaya lang di tlaga maiwasan na di magbura.. =(

Your right!Set B Professional Education Test questions 181 up was so confusing.It was questions for Case no 5 and 6 .
If we followed instructions base on the Questions of the case no referred above it will really make you insane.
It was more than 10 points.
I hope PRC check the questions please so they will understand what we are talking about....We did our best but with those kind of questions even Socrates, Plato and Aristotle cannot answer it.

Set B din ako sa LET exam. I agree with you guys it has errelevant items talaga sa SET B...kaya may letter "E" sagot ko doon but still anxious kasi sabi nila dapat nearest answer dapat daw.. Mali na ba ako doon? nakakaluka ang tanung not clear talaga! Na iba na kasi ang flow ng questions doon I noticed that kasi my lumalabas na items sa review namin at sa hand outs ko, mabuti rin nagbabasa pa me at naalala ko pa na my item katulad sa reviewer nabili ko,hay naku di na mi makatulog sa kakaisip ng result ng LET.

if it's true that answers will be invalidated because of erasures, then that's very unfair. there should be an improved way of checking. and the reminders shouldn't be "AVOID ERASURES". it should have been "ERASURES WILL INVALIDATE ANSWERS" or something like that. shoot... please naman hindi!

Yup! even in set A there were lots of lapses especially in sentence construction.
AN APPEAL TO PRC: please be careful next time. Make sure to check all the items before releasing the test booklets.
My mind cracked down not because I don't know the answers but because of typographical errors.

hay naku were the future teacher but my mga test questions last let exam na photocopied galing prc may mga connections ba sila doon sa mga personel specifically sa physical sciences major..dba unfair un sa iba?my comments sana next year ang prc would set new questions para maiwasan ito..bda bias 2?teacher would act as a role model anu ang iisipin ng mga students...

i took the test at Legarda Elem. Sch and our proctor was a first timer..we wasted a lot of time,but we ended before 1:30..I took the set b test too and most of the items were situational.Thus,we have to concentrate on the test otherwise we cant answer the questions which follow the given situation..Nakakainis nga coz somebody came over and blurted "10 minutes more" when it's only 1:00..Kumusta naman yon???Sumakit ulo ko ng bonggang-bongga..Ahhhhrggg!!!!
i took the exam last sept 2008, and i answered SET B of the exam.. why is that set b has faulty in choices and and its given situation in the last part of the test!!!!! i asked the proctor and she told me that they are not allowed to make certain adjustments about the test,,,
well i certainly hope that erasures will nnot be considered wrong...

hi guys! It was my first time to take let. I also happened to answer set B. It was really confusing, not because it was difficult, but some of the answers were not there. There were also typographical errors so it took me longer time to decide whether to take it as the right answer or not. I didn't know na may gamit pala ung E. Our proctor didn't tell us about it. I also made erasures, so goodluck to me! Sana naman di maka apekto yon.Di ako makatulog sa kahihintay sa result. First time kong kumuha ng exam na matagal ang result. I wonder why. computerized naman ang cheking. Anyway, goodluck to all of us. Hope we all pass.

Here's the fact, there are questions in gen ed esp in math that have no right answers... hope the prc will review that.... kawawa naman po ang mga nagreview ng todo2 tapos wala palang tamang sagot... :(

Hi to all LET takers last september 28 of this year.. i'm a first timer and i hope i passed the exam.. it just so happened that i did not review at all.. haha.. i'm busy working.. i just read my reviewer i bought.. just read it, reading without comprehension.. i didn't also have the time to memorize those prof ed's theories.. i wanted to be in the top 10 of the LET but since i did not work hard for it its ok for me just to pass the exam.. i don't want to take the exam for the second time.. GOD bless to all of us and may we pass the exam.. all of us!!! we are the distributors of knowledge, the molder of the young minds, we are the future of the country.. God bless the Teaching Profession.. ^_^

How possible that machine will not accept the erasure?? kc po ang magiging tanong don ay..
1. Anu po ba ang nakaprogram sa machine? yung letter of the correct answer ba or boxes of the correct answer?
2. Tsaka ang machines ba doble minded? Iisipin pa ba nya kung nag erase ka o hindi?
3. Basta malinis ang pagkakabura, sa tingin ko naman malabong makaapekto yun.
4. I believe that either the machine or the person in charge in checking PRC parin ang final decision kung ipapasa tayo o hnd db??!!
5. Anyway sana lahat tayo pumasa no matter what the error was Commited by Examinee or PRC sa set B...Thankssss to God Almighty!!!!

sept.28,2008 LET examinee rin ako yung clsm8 ko ngkamali yung proctor nya ng pagbigay ng answer sheet, naibigay sa iba tapos nung binalik sa kanya ang dami ng erasures almost 60 items un tpos wla man lng ginawa ung proctor na un, naka2dissapiont tlaga kc nman sobrang aral kmi tapos dahil sa pangyayaring un masa2yng lhat ng pinaghirapan namin.

i just noticed, some of the proctor do not really know what to do with regards to the policy inside the testing area. yung classmate ko na kasama ko nag-take ng exam kawawa xa masyado kasi noong nag ask siya ng confirmation with regards doon sa mali sa question sa set b. sabi ng proctor niya, wala daw siyang alam kung ano ang gagawin doon. the next time nag ask siya ng clarification hindi na sya pinansin, hehehe. anyways, god bless sa lahat ng MSU'ans na nagtake ng exam.
Marami talaga mali doon sa prof ed sa set B. case number 2 and number 5 options interchange. sayang din yon pati na din yong case number 8. eh worth 15 points pa naman yon. PRC should have double-checked the questionnaire prior to the scheduled date of exam.,eh Licensure exam yon eh, God forbid pero baka maging cause pa yon na hindi kami makapasa sa exam namin.

pero may isang pagkakamali sa SET B na sobrang swangit. sa NATURAL SCIENCE na part, may isang question about global warming, yung choice na "FOREST FIRES", na-typo nila into "FROST FRIES". hirap na hirap ako sa pagtigil sa katatawa nun, malapit na akong palabasin sa exam room.

Sana mapansin nioy na my error talaga sa Set B yon sa Prof. Ed. sa mga cases they have a cases which they not match the answer to the question. my case doon sa number na answer ay iba nasa ibang number or question...kaya di talaga match.. sana mapansin niyo mga taga PRC... at wish ko lang sana lahat ng Set B ay ipasa niyo na sa Professional Education.. is it true erasures will make the answers invalidate? hope not. sayang naman pinagreview at examination fee ko po. one more my answer clor was yeloow not blue because the color of the testbooklet transferred to my answer sheet
It's almost a month since we took the test and yet here we are, still waiting for the results. Indeed, there were a lot to grumble about with regards to the exam. As of now, we could not do anything to change it. So let us just continue praying because God has the last say. He holds our future. He knows what will become of us even before we know it. So let's be willing to accept the result, whether we fail or whether we pass.

I am jald from Aklan. Yup, the questions were very difficult, but God made them easier for us. Believe that God has granted all our prayers.May we pass all. Bat sa English majorship, wla na ung grammar, analogy, Identifying errors at sentence structure tests dun? I hope the PRC will come to realize that not all LET takers are that brilliant as they expect to us. It has been unfair to us now because previous board passers had enjoyed those test items.

Hello to those who took their LET last September..I noticed that most of you guys were so worried about the erasures you've made during the exam..Listen to me, I took my LET last April of 2008 and I've made some erasures too..Erasures are ok so long as you erased it with care like what I did..Like you also, it was a horrible time for me bcoz I thought I was gonna fail..The erasures kept haunting me however, di sa pagmamayabang I got 84% overall rating..Same as through with my classmate..she had made erasures too but, she topped the exam..Top 2 sya from University of Mindanao..seeee..I almost fainted when I got the result..I didnt enroll to any review center bcoz of financial constraints and I was 8months pregnant that time..So to all be optimistic just pray hard and if you know your capacity then probably you know if you pass or not.

for those who took the April 2008 LET, don't worry if u made a lot of erasures on your paper kasi ako i did the same thing when i took the LET pero sa awa ng dyos i was able to pass the LET naman kaya lang im not using my profession right now kahit licensed teacher ako...hehehe

I hope that you could post the list of LET Passers before the end of this day. Because in not doing so you're prolonging our agony. Please we just want to know the result of the exam whatever it may be. Since you said the it might be posted during the 1st week of November, Please do what you quoted dear PRC.
