A total of 37, 527 out of 94,462 (39.73%) nursing graduates passed the November, 2009 licensure examination.
The examination was given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Sulu, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last November 2009.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination in Manila as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Monday and Tuesday, March 8 and 9, 2010, with morning (8:00 A.M.) and afternoon (1:00 P.M.) sessions at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. All must come in their white gala uniform, nurse’s cap, white duty shoes, without earrings, hair not touching the collar and without corsage.
The Professional Regulation Commission reminded those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Oathtaking tickets for the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby regions will be available at the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) at 1663 F.T. Benitez Street, Malate, Manila, starting Monday, February 8, 2010 on a “first come first serve” basis.

sana nga di na nila ituloy yung magulong paglilipat ng mga venue. kasi kawawa naman kaming nasa baguio na pauuwiin pa sa provice namin eh ang init kaya sa baba. pag bababa kami a day before exam may tendency na magulo ang utak namin, mapagod sa byahe dahil malayo, and dahil mainit at biglang pagpalit ng atmosphere baka mahimatay pa kami. kawawa naman ang result ng exam namin kung magkaganoon man. At marami pa naman din ang maaapektuhan pag natuloy yun baka lalong bumaba ang percentage ng pasing dahil lang dun. kaya sana maawa naman po sila sa amin... huhu

How sad the Philippines now produced thousands of qualified nurses every year. Yet majority of these nurses are unemployed. Europe, the USA and some other countries are closing their doors for our nurses. Most of these qualified nurses are giving free services to hospital as volunteers so that at the end of the day hospitals savour the joy from the excellent services from these nurses. I call the Philippine government to look up at this very keenly as parents will be spending enormous amount of money with no future at all. Some other professions would have been beneficial for these talented students and for immediate income for the kids, vocational courses are reccomendable. My heart sank when a famous governent vocational school was closed down in Dumaguete. A stupid judgment.

ReplyDeleteI've been an RN for 17 years and the quality of new & would-be nurses nowadays has dropped. Nursing schools with undesirable % passing rate should be locked up and only 10% of the top graduating class should be accepted into nursing course. What do you think?

I am just scared that my best friend's test paper wll get lost, for that long period of time. or is this like, "penipili" kung sino and maka pasa, its sounded like tipical Filipino stuff. Just hoping the result is fair for everybday. coz everybday work so danm hard for it.

Just a word of advice to my fellow NUrsEs To Be... InsteaD of DiengLy, freakingLy and sTupidLy thinking bout the reslut, why dont you make yourself productive and useful while waiting for the result..You can help your parents instead,..You can cook for them for b-fast as they go to their work..You can wash their clothes and help in houseworkz....
For those Financially blessed ones....JusT sTay at home and sPend your time with your FAmily and relatives, after all, they missed you as you take your review and gone for months at their side..
Remember guyz that we gave our best shot in the exam so there,s nothing to doubt in ourselves..
We've done our part,..and now, leave the rest " BrO (ikaw ang star ng PaskO)...:D

ReplyDeletenung una akala ko ako lang nakakafeel ng kaba, nagLLBM, hindi makatulog, naiiyak....minsan hindi makakain.....tapos, madalas wala sa sarili, gumagawa ng bagay bgay para maging busy at hindi muna maisip ang result..haha...akala ko baliw nako....and nung nagopen ako ng internet at nagbasa sa mga blog...hayst......normal pala ang nararamdaman ko....umiyak ako isang beses pero tama na yun...lumuwag na ang pakiramdam ko,,kaya anu man ang mangyari, PASADo or BAGSAK....kailangan tanggapin, we all know, we did our best sa umpisa palang ng College til BOARD EXAM,,,kaya, GO GUYS!!!

ReplyDeletekabado ako nung exam last 2008 lalo na nung lumabas yung result..duh nagulat ako meron pangalan ko i just tought na bagsak ako ksi i never been serious nung review kasi d ako nagreview center nagnenet lang ako tsaka nagbabasa ng mga blogs about what will be the test question about na lalabas...and thank God lahat ng binasa ko sa mga blogspot marami lumabas...nagscan ako sa mga blogspot un lang ginawa ku before board exam...d lang talaga ako makapaniwala na lalabas ung name ko na nakapasa...samantala ung mga cousins and some of my friends na nagreview centre at halos libro at other review materials na ang kausap..wala silang name kaya... ang saya ko naman daw!!..kau guys Pray lng kayo na kasama sa 40-45 % na papasa!!..
